Kate Looks Elegant in Prabal Gurung at Singapore Presidential Palace

After freshening up at their hotel, the couple headed off to the official residence of the President of the Republic of Singapore, The Istana where they attended a state dinner hosted by president Tony Tan and his wife Mary.

Kate wore an eye-catching, yet elegant electric purple print dress which is a modified version of a catwalk look from Singaporean-born designer, Prabal Gurung's spring 2012 collection (currently on sale for £710, originally £1,770).

The printed silk-wool blend dress features three-quarter length sleeves and a bateau neckline. STYLEmetv.com describes the sheath dress as:

'Largely purple and cream Rorschach floral printed wool-silk dress from Prabal Gurung . Bateau neck. V-back leads into a concealed zip. Three-quarter-length sleeves. Four front and two rear darts for shaping. Single vent. Full silk lining. Specialist dry clean only.
Prabal Gurung doesn’t just settle for the charming nature of floral print, preferring to experiment with a more abstract Rorschach approach.

Body: 53% wool, 47% silk Lining: 100% silk Made in the USA'

The Duchess of Cambridge accessorized with items we've seen previously. She wore her black satin Prada heels, her bespoke Anya Hindmarch Maud Clutch (£450) in black satin (now renamed to 'Jubilee Bespoke Maud in Black Satin') and a diamond bracelet that she'd been given as a wedding present (we first saw this at the BAFTA Gala in Los Angeles last year).
